Junk Food and Fast Food, junk food is defined as "those commercial products, including candy,
bakery goods, ice cream, salty snacks and soft drinks, which have little or no nutritional value but do
have plenty of calories, salt, and fats. While not all fast foods are junk foods, most are. Fast foods
are ready-to-eat foods served promptly after ordering. Some fast foods are high in calories and low
in nutritional value, while other fast foods, such as salads, may be low in calories and high in
nutritional value.
Junk food in its various forms is extremely popular, and an integral part of modern popular culture.
Healthy affects
When junk food is consumed very often, the excess fat, simple carbohydrates, and processed sugar
found in junk food contributes to an increased risk of obesity, cardiovascular disease, and many
other chronic health conditions
'Eat healthy and live healthy' is one of the essentials requirements to live a long life.
Junk food can create major effects on your daily life and your health. Most of these
effects aren't long terms effects, but they can become one. These foods can also
become an addiction, if they're eaten often, they are one of the main reasons about
obesity in teenagers and adults. Why is that? A meal of these may contain up to one
thousand calories, do you know how much is that? Yet people consume it. Another
interesting fact about junk food is the lack of sleep. Since these foods are high with
sugars, it gives you energy and prevents you from sleeping. Junk food is very bad for
humans, since it can cause all of these stuff I've mentioned before and even more.
Start to eat well and healthy food, such as vegetables, made at home, and you'll find
yourself losing weight, being more energetic, and you'll start feeling much better.

The main problem with junk food is that people don’t realize its ill
effects now. When the time comes, it is too late. Most importantly, the
issue is that it does not impact you instantly. It works on your overtime;
you will face the consequences sooner or later. Thus, it is better to stop
now.
You can avoid junk food by encouraging your children from an early
age to eat green vegetables. Their taste buds must be developed as such
that they find healthy food tasty. Moreover, try to mix things up. Do not
serve the same green vegetable daily in the same style. Incorporate
different types of healthy food in their diet following different recipes.
This will help them to try foods at home rather than being attracted to
junk food.
