    DEVELOPMENT OF IMO REGULATIONS IN INTACT AND

    DAMAGE STABILITY
    ABSTRACT
    This paper includes the details and description about the ship stability by
    international maritime organisation (IMO). The ship stability field includes the
    intact stability and damage stability. The IMO criteria also establishes emphasis
    on the SOLAS Regulations (safety of life at sea), Load Lines, Fishing vessel
    safety (SLF), these are made into reality by the subgroups under IMO. These
    paper includes the latest progress in this field or which are currently developing.
    The intact stability and damage stability based on the SOLAS Regulation are
    newly crafted to get uniformity in this system, the damage stability of cargo
    ships and passenger ship will be made into a uniform calculation system based
    in probabilistic method or statistical method .The IMO is being expanded with
    uniformity in fields such as, Fishing vessel, High- speed crafts.
