Inductive reasoning is accepted as part of legal reasoning because the it is an

argumentation to draw a connection between facts for which they have evidence and a
conclusion. The initial facts are often based on generalizations and circumstances of the case,
with the implication that a conclusion is most likely to be true, even if that is not certain.
