3 TESLA- MRI CERVICAL SPINE WITH SCREENING OF BRAIN

OBSERVATION: -

Scoliosis is seen at cervical level with convexity towards right side. Mild osteophytic lipping is seen
at C3 to C7 levels.

Minimal broad based disc osteophytic bulge with foraminal encroachment is seen at C3-C4 to C5-C6
levels effacing the ventral subarachnoid space without significant cord or nerve root compression .
Mild generalized facetal arthropathy is seen at C3-C4 to C6-C7 levels (left more than right).

Rest of the cervical vertebral bodies, pedicles, laminae, transverse and spinous processes show
normal alignment, MR morphology and signal pattern.

Rest of the IV disc spaces show normal height and signal pattern. Rest of the facet joints and neural
foraminae appear normal.

The cervical cord is well displayed and it is of normal size. No evidence of any abnormal signal
intensity lesions seen within the cord. The cervico-medullary junction is normal.

The CSF displays normal signal intensity in all sequences and there is no evidence of any mass in
and around the CSF pathway.

The atlanto-axial and atlanto-occipital joints are normal.

The pre and paraspinal regions do not show any abnormal soft tissue lesion.

Screening of brain shows no obvious significant abnormality. Mild inflammatory mucosal

thickening is seen in right maxillary and bilateral ethmoid sinuses.

IMPRESSION: -
