FOR TQM OBSERVATION AND APPLICATION

Must Observe the following and Check if it is applied.

1. IF There is a system to ensure that all of the following are provided:
a) Safety in and outside the factory
b) Waste management program
c) Proper utilization, repair, upgrade and of operation facilities and equipment
d) Cleanliness and orderliness of the whole production site
2. IF There is a site separation plan for different production processes as when different types of
medicines are produced on entirely different building so that equipment and materials are
separately processed be ensured.
3. IF The factory has accessible good roads and pathways.
4. IF Employees are well and appropriately dressed to process medicine products.
5. IF The buildings meet and exceed the requirements of the Building Code.
6. IF Emergency exits are provided and properly marked.
7. IF Entry and exit points permit the use of the buildings from public with minimum interference
from production activities.
8. IF The corridors, doorways and alleys are well constructed for better mobility.
9. IF The buildings have facilities for person with disability (PWDs) as provided by law.
10. IF There are readily accessible and functional fire extinguishers and other fire-fighting equipment.
11. IF Bulletin boards, display boards, waste disposal containers and other amenities are strategically
located inside the buildings.
12. IF Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the factory premises.
13. IF Electrical lines are safely installed and periodically checked.
14. IF Water facilities are functional and well distributed in all buildings.
15. IF Floor plans include fire exits and location of fire-fighting equipment, standpipes, and other water
sources are conspicuously displayed in each building.
