Martin Wagner

Born in 1830 as a German Mennonite in Rheinland-Pfalz. His family went on a trip to Vienna
when he was 14. Martin was so impressed by the buildings he left his family and started working
as a menial laborer to at least be in the city. He was picked out of the crowd by Hans Pruser a
Craftmason (early technocrat) he was trained in the way of being a willworker. Joining the
University of Vienna he left with a doctorate in Architecture.

He participated in some of the conflicts of the early ascension war, but grew tired of the lack of
people working to find common ground. Feeling that Germany was not the place to grow he
moved to Mexico. Connecting with many of the other german expatriates he helped build many
beautiful buildings in Mexico City.

He made many connections with the supermatural’s of Mexico and tried to be a diplomat to
them. One night while he was trying to help a Camarilla delegation meet with the Sabbat, the
building was blown apart by a cannon by a group of anarchs who were hoping to disrupt the
meeting. While many vampires died in the attack one of the Spanish Toreadors in the
delegation embraced Martin for his aid.

Having lost his avatar, he tried to adapt to the new unlife. Realizing how little he knew of the
conflicts of the undead, he started traveling with his sire. Using his knowledge to maintain the
masquerade and make peace in troubling locations. Alocade after alocade came until he was
asked to lead a group of camarilla into the free states city of Los Angeles. Knowing he would
have a difficult time with the mixture in Los Angeles he spent the better part of 10 years
supplying the needs of many of the different supernaturals trying to be too valuable to be
attacked. Slowly he built a court calling in favors he had built and trying his best to make it
advantageous to all of those who supported him. But debts kept piling up and hidden favors that
would one day come calling.
