SYNOPSIS

Cães de Rua (street dogs) is as interdisciplinary creation that

comprises theater, movement, voice and aerial acrobatics that
transports you to the odyssey of a man who lives on the street. This
performance contemplates a neglected minority of society: one´s
failure to assist others. It dedicates the importance of the
transmutation of our consciousness in relation to others, diagnosing
the extermination of the human hierarchy in which we liv. It is
fundamentally a direct approach to what we fear most, after death:
survival!!

Biography

Sérgio Conceição was born in Lisbon in 1987, actor, singer,

dancer and aerial acrobat. He has a Cirque Arts Course at the
Chapitô School and a the Musical Theater Course at Vocare
Music Conservatory.
In 2005 he took a professional internship at the Olga Roriz
Company.
Since then he has developed his work as aerial acrobat in
various shows, events and animations. He has worked
regularly as an actor in the Artistas Unidos Theater
Company. In 2007 he was finalist on the television Portugal
Got Talent Show. He is the creator of the Broadway Goes to
Town Show, and recently created the show Street Dogs
included in the program of the International Imaginarius
Festival 2019.
He worked with:
Ávila Costa, Amélia Bentes, António Pires, António Felipe,
Bernardo Gama, Carla Galvão. Cláudio Hochman, Elsa
Galvão, Fernando Heitor, Franzisca Aarflot, Francisco
Salgado, Jorge Silva Melo, Olga Roriz, Paul Kirby, Pedro Gil,
Rui Rebelo and Victor Linhares
