Overview
The FireBus Model FB-2120X Series are high-quality,
die-cast metal manual alarm stations, UL Listed and ap-
proved for use in hazardous “explosion-proof” locations.
These models contain enhanced component features
that allow them to operate reliably within the uniquely
difficult environments found in petrochemical, refining
and offshore applications. The FB-2120X Series are
approved for use in Class I, Division I, Groups B, C and
D; Class II, Division I, Groups E, F and G and Class III.
The station enclosure is approved for indoor and outdoor
use, NEMA 4X applications and is Marine rated.
Operation
The Model FB-2120X is operated by pulling the bar
marked “PULL” on the front of the station as far down
as it will go. At that point, the station will lock in place
and is easily visible from up to 50 feet. The activation
bar is reset by opening the station with the key provided,
placing the bar in the normal upright position and then
relocking the station.
With the dual action configuration, the bar marked
“PUSH” rotates inward allowing the “PULL” bar to be
grasped and operated by a single hand.
