As agronomist in greenhouse and field, I am in charge of transplanting, thinning, harvesting, drying plants, treating
and watering seeds and often in charge of managing seed storage, such as labeling and categorizing seed envelopes
with instructions for growth. I collect data by keeping records of plant growth statistics and making environmental
and care decisions based on the data.

• Maintaining plant material for research, including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and propagation
• Maintaining and repairing the specialized heating and ventilation systems
• Managing the irrigation equipment
• Determining the settings and ranges for environmental control equipment including computerized programs
• Maintaining records and reports as required
• Preparing fertilizer stock solutions; operating and calibrating fertilizer injection equipment

o develop adequate understanding of the research protocols, the study of population and the

o Attend training conducting by lead of research consultants.
o Conduct qualitative interview with government officials, health professionals, health
provider, and community health workers.
o Conduct focus group discussion with 8-10 participants.
o Collect data through structural interviews and in-depth interviews with sampled clients and
service providers using a redeveloped questionnaire and interview guides.
o Observe asses the operations, supplies, supervisions, documentations, reporting and case
management of the selected health facilities (health posts).
o Collect copies of any supervision, reporting and documentation tools available at the facility.
o Review completed forms for accuracy, completeness and consistency immediate following
data collection.
o Enquire data quality and sampling protocols by accurately completing the data collection
and following up on each site on incomplete data collection/ missing respondents.
o Qualitative data transcription from audio recording into word document.
o Ensuring that the data transcription is done with excellent English language writing.
o Prove reading the transcribed data and summit a well written document.
o Ensuring that the on-going daily reporting on data collection and entry progress for the
research are kept up-to-date.
