Abstract General overview of the experiment, procedures, results and conclusion. 5

Write the main outcomes expected from the experiment. The objectives reflect on the purpose and usefulness of the experiment. You should never copy the
Objective 5
objectives from the lab handout. Instead, you should paraphrase.
Present the data as these were obtained. Most of the time these must be in the form of a table. Make sure that the quantity units are shown in brackets in the
Data/result/Calculatio
column titles and be careful to correctly use prefixes like micro- (µ) and kilo- (k) and symbols. Data must be similar with what was obtained during experiment. 35
n
Sample of calculation can be done once for each variable (with detail explanation). Present the data accordingly. Include error calculations if applicable.
Provide a brief and concise discussion of relevant concepts and observations. Discuss the obtained results. Processed data (results of your calculations),
Discussion graphs, andexplanations of data. Compare experimental and theoretical (expected) results. Discuss possible sources of error, including the human factor, 30
instrument error, limitations of theoretical/experimental models).
Conclusions indicate the significance of the findings. The results are evaluated and compared to theoretical or other experimental value. Discuss the objective.
Conclusion Compare theory/ hypothesis to the results. Comment on observations and analysis. Make sure that the conclusions are logical, and especially if there is some 10
deviation from the theory values, justify the reason.
When using sources other than the instruction sheet the references must be included in the text. NEVER copy from the internet unless you present your
sources (except WIKIPEDIA). At least 3 references. (books, journals, websites) Format of writing the references are as follows.
