Ericsson AVP 3000 voyager
Events coverage demands products which are operationally flexible,
straight forward to use, and robust enough to handle a demanding
environment. AVP 3000 Voyager is Ericsson’s sixth-generation DSNG
solution and builds on over 17 years of technology leadership in
Digital Satellite Newsgathering.
SD, HD, 3DTV and even 4K UHDTV operation are all supported, with a choice of codecs including MPEG-2, MPEG-4 AVC
and JPEG 2000, maximising operational flexibility. Ericsson Patent Pending Phase Aligned Audio is also fully supported.
An integrated satellite modulator offers high order DVB-S/S2 modulation on both IF and L-Band outputs. Fiber links are
also supported. In addition to a simple to use GUI, the AVP 3000 Voyager can also be controlled from an ergonomic front
panel with built in monitor or via third party applications. This gives users the widest choice of operational modes.
