Building the rapport with the students was great because it allowed the students to trust Canaan.
This trust made the students to ask questions and seek additional help if needed.

Canaan did a great job of reassessing and reteaching a lesson when needed. He understood
when a lesson did not go as planned and was able to be flexible to meet the needs of the
students.

Classroom management was good. Tough to walk in the middle of the year and set your
standards and rules. I do think Canaan got an idea of what worked and did not work in the
classroom.

Canaan did a great job with getting assessments back the next day or two. He would collect
assignments, grade them and then go over problem spots with the students.

Similar to last question. After a unit tests he will go through the tests and pick out questions
where students struggled the most. He then would reteach and allow students an extra
opportunity with those questions.

I think this comes with more time in the classroom. The more you teach the more you understand
the order of things that are taught. I think he did a great job of asking me and trying to determine
knowledge with pre-tests.

Pacing was great. Canaan was able to adapt and re-plan when needed. As all teachers know,
sometimes we think the lesson is going to be easy and go well and then it hits a bump and you
have to adjust. Canaan did a great job of adjusting to fit the needs of the students..

Explanation: 4=Passed 3=Conference, review and revise document with University supervisor 2=Additional
two-week field experience is required, during which the teacher candidate will work with data subjects to gain
and analyze additional data. Results will be evaluated by the University supervisor 1=Require a full month
extension of the student teaching experience in which the teacher candidate will be visited by the OCU
