OPM Playtist Mechanics
1. A Student or pair must create an OPM playlist with 8-12 songs in it.
2. They shall create a “storyline” based on the lyrics of the songs that they will choose
3. The choice of songs for the OPM Playlist stories are only limited to the eras between 1950’s-2000’s. Year
2001 IS NOT COUNTED. For song sources, you may use this link: http://www.songsofthedecade.com/
tagalog-songs.html. If ever there are artists not in this list but qualify between these eras, you may use
them as long it is validated or verified they are between these years.
4. They shall create an ORIGINAL PLAYLIST COVER which will be printed in the output. Can be drawn or
edited as long as IT IS PRINTED on the printed output.
5. Each student or pair will have a freedom of theme or story topic for the OPM Playlist Stories
6. The lyrics of the song will be basis of the story flow. No need to write your own or compose and original
story, the lyrics of the song will be the basis of the story flow.
7. The songs in the playlist must be arranged according to its part in the story line created.
8. Presentation of the Mastery Test will be always during the 1st 15 mins of the Music class.
9. The presentation must cover the following parts only:
Explanation of the playlist title created and the songs in the playlist
Present a summarized narration of the playlist
Play the songs in the playlist which provide the climax parts of your story line
Add some additional story parts and additional played songs if needed
9. After presentation, the student or pair must submit a printed output of the playlist with the following
assigned format (see illustration below) printed at a LETTER SIZE (Short bond paper).
