Researcher had already done Mphil on the topic of ‘A study of Monetary policy and

Out of the topic presented guide advised to select the topic of ‘A study of development,

18th to 25th Researcher was informed about importance of Review of Literature and data collection
methods.

30th Visited KES Shroff College library for books, periodicals and journals related to
research topic.

Visited www.rbi.org.in and studied ‘Report on Trend and Progress of Banking in India
4th 2009-10’ the site also provided insight about retail banking sector and its strength and
weaknesses.

Visited Sterling book House Mumbai to find out books on banking technology.
Purchased book written by Firdos T. Shroff, Northen Book Center on Modern Banking
