Praise the Lord.
Let’s go to the book of Jude…
 
Are you there on Jude 1:3
“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto
you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” KJV
Jud 1:3 Dear friends, I've dropped everything to write you about this life of salvation that we have in common. I have
to write insisting--begging!--that you fight with everything you have in you for this faith entrusted to us as a gift to
guard and cherish. MSG

He saying that we should contend, we should fight for the faith.

There is fight; you have to bring all the energy which is in you. Don't allow yourself to give up. When you are given a
responsibly, don’t give up thinking you can’t manage.

God has called us to the highest calling; the ministry of His word. But it is up to us to make the decision to what
extent should God use us. All this is according to how far you can see.
Let's deliberately put the gospel first, besides us having other businesses. Meaning we should not have a reason to
bring excuses.

We do not give up or give in.

Let's look at 2Ti 2:2  And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to
faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Listen, the things which we have seen pastor Chris or pastor Ose doing; don't start discussing them; if they are true
or not. No, just tell others and do them.
The things that we see our leaders do, let's do also.
What we have received from God is a spiritual impartation. Therefore, that thing you can give it at will. The bible
says the same commit thou to faithful men.

Verse 3 says, Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Meaning that you should expect hardness to come, some forces will try to squeeze you. So endure like a Good
soldier, not just any other soldier, but a good one.

Verse 4, No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of [this] life; that he may please him who hath
chosen him to be a soldier.
we do not get ourselves attached to the things that God disconnected us from. Live above them. Amen.

Verse 5, And if a man also strive for masteries, [yet] is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
Listen, as a leader, disconnect completely to the systems of this world. 

So also look at 2Co 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath
righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? KJV
2Co 6:14  Don't become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and
wrong? That's not partnership; that's war. Is light best friends with dark? MSG

Did you see that?

It says, what agreement does the new creation man have with the worldly man.
We as leaders in the ministry we need to know our business, our business is souls. Then we ought to give them
primary attention.
There are times we have a program, we may pay attention to the program forgetting the souls. We ought to give
them our attention. We also want to know if there is something wrong happening, for example maybe there is
stagnation.
 
The first approach is self-searching.
You are the variable asset. The message preached in Zimbabwe is preached here; the same cell manual. So why is
not your cell growing. The brethren may fail to grow because the leader is not growing. So we ought to grow.

Get better in the way you talk.

Find the right kind of words, communicate better. Know how to frame your face to be welcoming. Even in the way
that you look.
Leadership position is not an office, it is a responsibility. When we are preaching, we are adapting to our father. We
don't have a problem with preaching. We should work on our prayers. Communicate with God.
 
Be a prayerful leader.
Learn to pray for others; those who are under you. When you pray for someone, you amy not be able to give
physically, but you have invested a chnage in their lives. You will strenthen them.
Prayer is so important. Be a prayerful leader not just a preaching one.

Organizing, and planning the work.

Preaching is not the only work we are called to do. We ought to help them live their lives through the week. We
need to be very organized.

In Giving there is Power.

Our gospel of prosperity, should never be mistaken, it’s not about receiving. It is about Giving. There are things that
giving will do in your life. You are in power as far as the value of our giving is concerned.
Jesus could have control over fish; tell the fish what to do, because he had given fish to others.
What you have not given becomes too big for you. If you have never given a million kwacha before, and you happen
to receive it, you will be shaken.

How can a man offer a goat that is worth K4000 to protect the president of a nation? It shows you not serious. If
people want to kill a president of any country, they would spend hundreds of millions, because they know it’s worth
it.

Remember in the bible king offered his only son who was the heir. That giving had so much value to the giver. 2Ki
3:27  Then he took his son, his firstborn who would succeed him as king, and sacrificed him on the city wall. That set
off furious anger against Israel. Israel pulled back and returned home.
How much value do you place on that work that has been given to you. Make sure you plant a seed for that work
you have been given. That seed will liberate you.
The bible says that, the one who is faithful in little is faithful in much. How you use your money matters a lot; if your
heart is toward the ministry, you will give willingly.

The Anointing of Gods spirit.

Without the anointing of the Holy Ghost, the ministry could not have left Lagos. If you start doing this ministry work
physically, you will surely fail.
It is the anointing that makes things to happen here in Christ Embassy. It is through that anointing that we can plant
churches.
The Anointing is the presence of God. Try this, get home and start speaking to the Holy Ghost, practice it. Be
conscious of the anointing.
 
That's why the bible says Eph 5:18  Don't drink too much wine. That cheapens your life. Drink the Spirit of God, huge
draughts of him.
The bible says our fellowship is with the father, son and Holy Spirit.
1Jo 1:3  We saw it, we heard it, and now we're telling you so you can experience it along with us, this experience of
communion with the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ.
Meaning our communication is with the above. Not mere communications.
I read the book by benny hinn; good morning holy spirit. It was the first time in my life that I learnt that there is
someone else in this room, but I can't see him. At that time, the devil tells you something else. Learn to silence the
devil, because he will come and test you.

We just want to see how we can keep ourselves on fire.

Romans 12: 11-12. I will read from the message translation
Rom 12:11  Don't burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master,
Rom 12:12  cheerfully expectant. Don't quit in hard times; pray all the harder.
It is telling us the truth, that there are hard times coming, and to continue in prayer.
There some few points I would like to share with you here.
 
1. a) Be fervent/ be excited.
Have the excitement to the calling/ responsibility you have been given. Do everything you can, to convince yourself
to be excited about the work you have been assigned to do. Do it with gladness. It requires self-motivation. The bible
says, David encouraged himself in the Lord. Listen; when God chose you, he separated you.

b) Be diligent.
Keep at it, do not quit. Be aware and know that you are not a quitter. Be aware that is it God who is able. Know that
the Spirit of God is in you. Be conscious of it. So don't think of quitting.
Listen, the condition of your spirit matters a lot. God does not focus on the things you have done, but on the
condition of your spirit. Position yourself rightly to be a minister of God.

c) Serving the Lord

Give your life into serving God. Let your life be about serving God.
I was at Chikhwawa church yesterday, and I am so inspired. I knew the church when they were only 5-10 people.
Listen, now they are more than 80 people. The leaders are so encouraged and serious about this Gospel. They have
already established one new church.
