Explain the purpose of an internal proposal?


Purpose is to be written to management within your company and convey your
ideas within your company

Explain the purpose of an external proposal?


An external proposal is a document written for internal corporate office viewing
which addresses an external or public problem. These documents will be written by
managers who wish to address company-wide dilemmas that ultimately involve
customers and the public.

What content do you include in the introduction?


You introduce the proposal, telling the readers its purpose and contents. You
present the background--the problem, opportunity, or situation that brings about
the proposed project. Get the reader concerned about the problem, excited about
the opportunity, or interested in the situation in some way.

What is an abstract in a proposal?


Summary that has 3 to 10 sentence which states problem to your proposal, suggest
solution & benefits your audience will derive.

What do you include in a purpose statement?


Purpose of your proposal & clarifies the proposal's context into 1 to 3 sentences.

What are the typical component of the discussion sections?


*analyses of the existing situation
*comparative approaches to solving a problem
*corporate & Employee credentials
*analyses of previous accomplishments

What do you include in the recommendation?


When the action will or should occur & why that date is important, also the next
course of action

How can you enhance the tone of a proposal?


Be Genuine and Sincere. Underscore the Benefits to the Client. Express a High
Level of Confidence. Use Appropriate Emphasis. Follow the Basic Rules of
Writing. Use Proper Fonts. Avoid Discriminatory Language.

In what ways can you write persuasively in a proposal?


1) Hit the right objective in each section 2) Get better responses from you SMEs

What are RFPs, SOWs & Boiler plates?


RFP is request for proposals
SOW is scope of work or statement of work
boiler plate is any content that can be used.
