Homeschooling vs Formal schooling

One day I was strolling in the garden when I heard

two ladies bickering about something. I couldn't help
but listen to it. I heard one of the ladies say,
"Homeschooling does not give stress to the child."
while the other said, "It does not give stress t the child
but it does not allow the child to converse with other
children of their age." Once I got to know the topic
they were bickering on I walked away.

But the next day, when I thought about the topic I

realized that the topic was worth a thought. The
advantages of homeschooling are that the child is
relaxed and does not have to deal with dreadful
homework, school and worry about getting to the
good side of teachers while dealing with parents who
want good grades. The child does not have to learn
subjects which are of no use in the fields they are
interested in.

The disadvantages of homeschooling are that

children don't how to adjust and deal with stress. they
don't get the opportunity to converse with other
children of their age. they get used to to the warm
environment
and have trouble dealing with the world and people
when in college
or high school. Also home schooled children grow a
lot slower than formally schooled children.

Now if we talk about the advantages of formal

schooling, there are many. First of all, children know
how to deal with stress and adjust as they have to
spend six hours everyday with others. They converse
with others and learn how to work as a team and
learn moral values and do it practically like the moral
value 'sharing is caring '. They grow up a lot faster
than homeschooling children in my opinion. In school
children have to learn all the subjects taught in
school.

But that also is a possibility that the child may lose

interest in the field they choose earlier and gain
interested in another field, in the higher classes. The
disadvantages are that there is no doubt in that
children often come home depressed because of a
bad grade, punishments or detentions given by
teachers, too much of homework or because of being
humiliated by the teacher or the children. Another
disadvantage is that the children have to change their

learning speed to the speed that the teacher is

teaching the class. If they can't change, there is no
question of understanding the concepts.

Then so considering these points, I think that formal

schooling is better though I have no idea when I
would decide to change my mind.
