EMAIL INVITATION TO A MEETING

To: CEO of The McKenzie’s Architectural Services

I have been assigned the task of managing risks involved in the operational takeover of the
Dubbo office. I conducted research as per the McKenzie’s risk assessment policies and prepared
a report regarding the threats and opportunities the takeover of business could bring to the
company. I want to bring forward to the committee the highlights of the research and want
suggestions and inputs from the committee.

Following are the some of the findings of the research: The following are areas where potential
for risk to McKenzie’s has been identified. Under each area, examples of possible risks are
detailed.
1. Environmental risk: Flood due to recent torrential rain
2. Physical risk: Furniture damage causing by the flood
3. Human risk: Inadequate human resources and high staff turn-over.
4. Compliance risk: Customer dissatisfaction causing negative feedback to the society.
5. Financial risk: High cost for recruitment advertising and furniture replacement

These were highlights from the research I wanted bring forward to the committee and inputs
regarding how the committee wants to address these issues are sought.
