Methodological Issues

The researchers’ preparedness in doing the study especially in data collection

and analysis can be an issue. The nature of qualitative study when it comes to

its methodology is that the participants, most of the time, answers the

research questions subjectively. The methods that will be used in gathering

the data may arise some biases in the researcher’s interpretation which must

be avoided in occurring. The findings have risks of losing credibility and

consistency when not deemed properly with honesty. The participants can

also be an issue if they will not cooperate well and a misunderstanding about

the study if not explained well.

Trustworthiness of the Study

The study relies mostly on the information given by the participants in

gathering the data which is one of the crucial parts in the making of the study.

The trustworthiness is given high regard in the conduct of the study which the

researchers will carefully look into especially of its credibility. This study will

be made sure not to adhere any biases and manipulation in the findings but

instead, researchers will do triangulation to make the findings true and

accurate. The responses given by the participants will be highlighted in the

steps that will be undertaken in the data analysis in order to have better

results about the findings.

The researchers will make sure that the findings of the study is applicable to

other contexts such as situations, population and phenomena. The research

will be also made sure that it will be reviewed and examined by research

practitioners, experts and anyone who has the field of expertise in research or
has successfully done research that are qualified to check our study to ensure

that the findings are consistent. Thus, the researchers will be held responsible

of any inconsistencies, dishonesties and improbabilities made along the

process of the study.

Ethical Considerations

Doing research needs a lot of things to consider in order to avoid any

discrepancies that may arise along the process. The researchers will take

into account the ethical considerations that we should follow in conducting our

study. We will make sure that participants shall be treated with utmost respect

and given their right of privacy and confidentiality of their given information.

Before enrolling participants to the research, they shall have a better

understanding of the research and additional treatment methods that enable

individuals to experience and increase their overall sense of well-being

(Institutional Review Board, n.d.)

Also, the vulnerability of research participants shall be in topmost priority than

anything. The researcher shall protect the participant’s direct disclosure of

private information and shall execute confidentiality. All of the randomly

selected research participants shall be given fair distribution of risks and

benefits upon the conduct of the study.

Methods and procedures that will be used for the conduct of the study shall be

explicitly and clearly disclosed to the research participants.

There will be strictly no practice of any plagiarism on the information stated in

the research. Only the researchers and the research adviser together with the

referred experts will be of knowledge about the flow and progress of the study

to ensure that any issues may arise will not make any misconduct.
