Ethical Considerations
In this study, the protection and rights of the respondents are the researcher's top
priorities. The researcher will always take care to respect the respondents' dignity and welfare.
The study will also be examined by the research ethics committee at the University of the
Immaculate Conception to make sure that it complies with all applicable ethical requirements.
Social Value
Research on the learners' adversity quotient is essential during this post-pandemic
phase because we need to know how well our learners are able to handle challenges or issues
after experiencing serious problems during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The study's findings could be useful to the academic community since they could serve
as the basis for creating an improvement program or action plan that would help the learners
perform better academically.
Informed Consent.
Respondents must understand that their participation in this research study is entirely
voluntary. The researcher will provide all the necessary information to potential respondents,
including the study's purpose, procedure risk, and benefits. The respondents must have given
enough time to ask questions. A formal consent form signed by the respondents' parents, as
well as a letter confirming the respondents' consent to participate, are required. These must be
signed by both the respondents and their parents.
Justice.
The researcher must emphasize to respondents the importance of being sincere in their
questionnaire responses. In the research, respondents' time and effort must also be valued. The
researcher also ensure that this study will be beneficial to them and to the community. Giving
respondents a small token or souvenir is a simple way to express gratitude.
Transparency.
The researcher will ensure that there are no issues or factors influencing the
respondents' decisions. Respondents, parents, teachers, and the principal of the school where
the study was conducted may review the findings. However, the respondents' privacy must be
respected.
