Dear Parents and children,

A big hello to everyone 😊 I really hope that everyone is keeping well, staying safe and
you all had a wonderful Easter. I have put together another week’s work for the
children and will do so next week again, in hope that after that we will be back to some
sort of normality. I for one cannot wait until we are all back at school.

Again, I know it is not an easy task to complete this work with the children, especially
if you are also working from home yourself. So please do not be under any pressure to
get this work complete. It is there as a guideline should you wish to complete any of it
with your children.

Should your child want more work below are a few suggestions and on the website page
are a few more.

Some Extra Work to complete (only if needed/wanted):

 The children can complete as many pages as they want in the Little Just
Handwriting Practice book.

 Practice writing numbers 1-5. The formation of them should be correct.

 Counting to and from 10. Making simple additions e.g. 1+1=2 ( Only numbers that
add up to 5).

 Write lots of independent stories/news. I would love to get to read all of these
on our return to school 😊

 Practice letter formation of the whole alphabet (lower case and capitals)

 Write sentences using your tricky words.

story for helping children deal with any worries, so it’s definitely worth reading
and listening to again.
  Anyone who has no books home -if they were not in the last day should just
continue what they can. Practice independent writing, words, tricky words and
reading. Some various maths activities too.

I will continue to engage on the website adding new links/ ideas throughout the week.
Again, feel under no pressure these are there should you need them. The health and
wellbeing of your family is our priority.

I wish all families safe health over the coming weeks and look forward to our return to
school. Missing you all.
