answer these questions:

1 What does the video say you should and shouldn’t do in a PowerPoint presentation?

2 What are the three Golden rules?

3 What are the advantages of the three rules?

Choose two of the presentations in the video.

Which two did you choose?

Did they follow the advice given in the first video?

Thinking about Signposting language, how many examples of signposting could you find? What were
they?

Did the students use them well? Why/why not?

Could they have used more/different types of language?

Were the different stages of the presentation clear? Why not?

What feedback would you give the students in the video about strengths of weaknesses in their
presentations? Think about the four categories:
