Simple Past Forms / Formas del pasado simple

With most verbs, the past simple tense is formed by adding –ed for regular verbs.
However, there are many verbs with irregular past forms. Negative forms are made with
did not and questions or interrogative forms are made with did.
Con la mayoría de los verbos, el tiempo pasado simple se forma agregando –ed para
verbos regulares. Sin embargo, hay muchos verbos con formas irregulares en pasado.
Las formas negativas se hacen con did not y las preguntas o formas interrogativas se
hacen con did.

 Affirmative form (forma afirmativa): Subject (sujeto) + Verb in past (verbo en

Negative form (forma negativa): Subject (sujeto) + did not / didn’t + Verb in
infinitive (verbo en infinitivo) + Complement (complemento)
