Ball game
Type of activity: Practice Prepositions, Phrasal Verbs and vocabulary seen in Unit 2, 3 and 4
Level: Intermediate

Materials: A ball, a bag with the numbers of the questions and music
Place: Classroom - Students will play in groups in a competition
Procedure:
- We start with a brief introduction of the game.
- Our ball has some written numbered questions about Prepositions, Phrasal Verbs and vocabulary seen in Unit
2, Unit 3 and Unit 4.
- We start with the music and give the ball in a deliver way to a group.
- When we stop the music, the group who has the ball will have to answer one question that the organizers will
choose through a raffle.
- The limit to give an answer will be only 20 seconds.
Introduction:
Hello everyone, today we will play the ball game. We will start throwing the ball and playing the music, when the
music stops, the group who has the ball will answer a question that we will choose by a raffle. The group has 20
seconds to answer. The group with the most correct answers will be the winner. Now let’s play!
