SUB: 2nd year Physics Honours Practical centre at A. P. C. Roy Government College

Sir,
Department of Physics, A. P. C. Roy Government College was the centre for Physics
Honours 1st and 2nd year practical examination in 2018. Since 2017 Mr. Soumya Mukherjee takes
the class in 2nd year Honours practical without maintain minimum recquirements. Last year when
I and Kartick Chandra Dey were appointed as internal for the practical examination we did not get
the laboratories in a condition that we can take any examination. Maximum of the instruments
were broken and there were no replacements. Mr. Soumya Mukherjee did not informed about the
instruments to college authority and his phone was unavailable. I tried to repair the instruments
with my students but all was in vain as there were no replacements. The situation is same for the
current year. Mr. Soumya Mukherjee did not repair/purchased any instrument even after frequent
requests by us. It is impossible for us to conduct practical examination in this laboratory.
In these circumstances either please do not make our department as a centre of 2nd year
Physics practical examination or appoint Mr. Soumya Mukherjee as an internal of 2nd year
specifically.
