To whom it may concern,

I am writing to express my interest in becoming a part of your esteemed

organization as a kitchen trainee, as it has been an age-long ambition of mine
to become a chef and learn under the tutelage of great hoteliers. As a student
of culinary arts at Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, in the Craftsmanship
Course for Food production and Patisserie, I am prepared to leverage my
knowledge, passion and skill set to make a meaningful impact on your
establishment and jump start my career as a hotelier and chef.

I believe my grit, determination, and problem solving abilities will allow me to
make significant contributions to further the goals of your establishment. My
background spans hands on and theoretical training in food production, food
prep, food storage, safety and hygiene, sourcing of produce, indenting,
organizing, and cleaning of workstations and kitchen.

Key skills in the kitchen-

● Food storage according to proper safety guidelines.

● Indenting and receiving of supplies.
● Cleanliness of kitchen and its equipments.
● Fundamental french sauces and soups along with contemporary
sauces.
● Vegetable slicing, dicing, and other cuts.
● Strong butchery skills.
● Adept at various cooking methods such as deep frying, baking, grilling,
sautéing, poaching, searing, etc.
● Knife sharpening
● Recipe development
● Solid activity management skills, and ability to endure and adapt to
different situations.
● Team player and aware of workings of a strong kitchen and hotel.

Along with the technical skills mentioned above, I strongly believe in my ability
to work seamlessly with colleagues and collaborate soundly to deliver
consistent and exceptional customer service. I would love for an opportunity to
hone my skills in customer satisfaction, culinary arts and hotel management

under your guidance and contribute positively to the goals of your
establishment.

Best regards,

Bhagat Chawla
