READING.1 ME AND MY FAMILY.

I want to write something about me, my family and the place where I live. Writing is easier than
speaking. So, I prefer to write. I am not very good at speaking and my English is the worst at home. I
speak even worse than my little sister, Pam. Ok, I am in the middle in my family. I am 15. My eldest
sibling is my brother John. He is 25. My youngest sister, Pam, is 10. She is five years younger than me
and John is 15 years older than her. My elder sister, Joan, is 17. She is better at English than me, so I
sometimes ask her for some help. Oddly, Pam is taller than me and Joan. She is the tallest among women
in my house. Pam is also cleverer than us. She only gets “A” at school. She is the most gorgeous as well
in the family. I think she is the best. I live in Valparaiso with my parents. John lives in Santiago on his
own, because he thinks Valparaiso is more boring than Santiago. I don’t like Santiago because it’s hotter
than Valparaiso in summer and colder in winter, although I think Punta Arenas is the coldest place to live
in Chile and the most expensive too!!! Well, I also want to say that I love singing. Pam is the worst at
singing. I sing better than Joan, but John is the most talented when it comes to singing. He sings at
times in pubs in Santiago. He rides a motorbike because he thinks these are faster than cars, but my
mum says that it is the least safe means of transport. Well, I think it is all for today. I will keep on
writing tomorrow.
