Overview of Products- Customer needs like savings account, current account,


demat account etc, Identity of the customer by taking proper documents, field
verification, debit card, cheque book.

Have to understand customer quickly, have to take care while seeing amounts
and signatures, stamp properly, etc

Flow of Account Opening Process in brief …… Kyc is Mandotory for all the
acconts that opened in the branch. First have to verify identity of the customer
by taking proper documents like address proof, identity proof, MID, after
taking all the documents Intial fund amount as to be taken in form of cash or
cheque and then enter all details in omniflow after showing it to Branch head.
Then we have to send it to CLH for further process.

Turn Around Time -3 Hours for account opening

AOF, Identity proof, Photograph, Signature, field verification,

SUMMARY OF ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

KYC is compulsory for all first time accounts, if no Pan then form 60 should be
taken, interview sheet is given if intial funding is through cash, if insta
customer will get account number immediately.

Have to maintain 0 percent FTNR, ID Proofs –pan, aadhar, voter id, passport,
etc

Adress proof- aadhar, voter id, driving licence,etc

Overview of Products

In outward clearing we will receive cheques drawn on other banks

Flow of Process in brief – when we receive outward cheque from the customer
first have to put cross seal of the axis bank, then write beneficiary account
number at the back side of the cheque, and have to put appropriate seals. And
have to send to clearing hub through micr scanning.

Crossing, uv scanning ,stamping properly, account details, signature matching,


etc

Scanning is compulsory, no alterations accepted without the consent of the


drawer, have to check funds in the account, etc.

Above Rs25000 uv stamping is compulsory, above 2lakhs fugitive stamp is


compulsory, special crossing, amounts

Overview of Products - Cheques came from clearing hub as a image to our


bank which are drawn on our bank.

Flow of Process in brief we will receive cheque from hub, have to verify
instrument details properly, signature should be properly checked, no
alterations are accepted.

Approximate time for the process (Turn Around Time) 1 day

Signatures should properly verified for individuals as well as for both joint
holders in case of joint accounts.. Have to check remiterr bank as properly
stamped or not. Then accept the payment .

SUMMARY OF ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

Cheques drawn on our bank which are received by other banks and sent for
collection in clearing hub Received from clearing hub in scanned image
through micr scanning with CTS.

Above 2 LAKHS can be transefered through RTGS.
For large amounts RTGS is used.

There is no limit for RTGS transactions


Flow of Process in brief
In Saaksham Customer will request us by filling RTGS form by attaching
cheque. Then we have to verify and
have to enter. Then other person will authorize it and will post it.

Approximate time for the process (Turn Around Time) 2 Hours

Process Guidelines (If Any)

Above 2 LAKHS transactions comes under RTGS transactions only. In Saaksham


first we have to go to NEFT/RTGS transfer. Then have to enter customer
account number which we have to debit and see whether funds are available
or not. Then amount to remit, Tran particulars, instrument date, operation
type, cheque number, benefeciery details have to be filled. Then have to click
on enter.

SUMMARY OF ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

RTGS is for large amount transactions. Can be send to self or for others also.
Can be done in Saaksham and also in Finacle

NEFT is generally used for small amount transactions
RS1 to unlimited amount can be transferred using NEFT

Flow of Process in brief


Customer will request us by filling NEFT form by attaching cheque.
Then we have to verify and have to enter. Then other person will authorize it
and will post it.

Generally below 2LAKHS transactions comes under NEFT transactions only. In


Saaksham first we have to go to NEFT/RTGS transfer. Then have to enter
customer account number which we have to debit and see whether funds are
available or not. Then amount to remit, Tran particulars, instrument date,
operation type, cheque number, benefeciery details have to be filled. Then
have to click on enter.

SUMMARY OF ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

NEFT is done half hourly basis in batches wise.

My Understanding for the Week
