I saw this on Pinterest and adapted it to fit a dice for large motor skills
Reflection:
I will adapt this lesson to fit the first grade standards of fine arts: dance: 1PR demonstrate basic locomotor and non-locomotor movement patterns using changes
in time, space, body shape and movement quality to construct and express personal meaning and science: K.LS.2 Living things have physical traits and
behaviors, which influence their survival. Looking at the science standard, create a heavier focus in the animal and its movement and how the animal would move
in water versus mud will help students to fully comprehend the movement and speed of the movement they are executing. And with the fine arts, students will
continue to construct meaning about their movement and “move with purpose”. With this adapted lesson, students will be able to move with purpose to the
direction of an animal and students will be able to identify the movements of animals and the importance to the animals survival.
