Once upon an average
school day, Jeremy
Rocket listened to
Mrs. Kennedy teach
about the far away
moon.
As he stared out the
window and dreamed
about recess, Jeremy
came up with a brilliant
idea...
He was going to make a
zipline to take him to
the moon!

When the time came,

Jeremy took a very
long, very strong
string, and he lassoed
the moon like a cowboy
in the movies.

Jeremy tied the end of

the string to the
monkey bars, and in an
act that defied gravity,
he ziplined up to the
moon!
To his surprise, the
moon was not made of
cheese- an interesting
discovery that he
would report back to
his classmates.
As he bounced around
exploring this new
place, he heard a
booming voice say,
“Helloooo and welcome
to space!”
It was the Man on the
Moon! Jeremy Rocket asked
the Man every question
that was in his brain, and
he got all the answers his
brain could contain.
Then, he thanked the Man
and said his goodbyes. As
Jeremy zipped back down
to the playground he
thought, “Man is my class
in for a surprise!”

Sure enough, as Jeremy

inched closer to school,
all his friends were
pointing, shouting, and
saying, “Hey look! That’s
pretty cool!”
Jeremy Rocket’s class
listened in awe as he
shared his story and told
his tales. Then, Mrs.
Kennedy went on to read
them a book about some
Beluga Whales. Maybe
tomorrow at recess
Jeremy’s zipline would
take him on an adventure
to the Arctic Ocean.
The end.
