Situation 1: In a clothing store


Student A: You’re the sales assistant
Student B: You’re the client

Situation 2: In an electronics store


Student C: You’re the sales assistant
Student D: You’re the client and Student B’s sister

Props (Utilería): clothes of different sizes and colors, cellphones


Grammar: Present Simple, Present Continuous, comparative and superlative adjectives
Vocabulary: Clothes, electronic items, technology, places for shopping
Expressions: Learning to shop for clothes, asking for help, checking instructions

Situation 1:
1) Student B wants to renew her wardrobe since she has a date.
2) Student A helps Student B by giving suggestions about what clothes would look good on her.
3) While this is happening, Student B gets a phone call from her sister who is shopping for a
cellphone in an electronics store.

Situation 2:
1) Student D is interested in buying a new cellphone and is asking Student C about three or four
different kinds of cellphones.
2) After some consideration, Student D call her sister to know her quick opinion
3) Student B answers the call and responds to Student D’s questions quickly.
4) Student D thanks her sibling for the advice. Then she decides on a cellphone and pays for it.

Situation 1:
5) After finishing answering Student D’s call, Student B goes back to Student A.
6) Student B accepts the sales assistant’s ideas about what to buy, pays for the clothes she was
recommended, and leaves the store.
