LOVE COLOUR u LOVE THE SCIENCE

GUIDELINES FOR NEW USERS

OLAPLEX HAS BEEN USED THOUSANDS OF TIMES WITH AMAZING RESULTS.

“OLAPLEX SCIENCE helps take your colouring & treatments to another level.”

“OLAPLEX helps to repair broken disulphide bonds.”

FOLLOW THE RULES: “Olaplex is a product of science, the stated amounts are important. USING LESS OR MORE
COULD AFFECT YOUR DESIRED RESULT.”

OLAPLEX SPECIAL BOND MULTIPLYING PROFESSIONAL TREATMENT
Guidelines for the Olaplex Bond Strengthening Stand Alone Professional Treatment Service (The Treatment):

This is our most popular service and a great introduction to the Olaplex System.

For hair that has been compromised chemically or thermally damaged, The Treatment should be your first
achievement. The Olaplex Bond Multiplying System can be used as a kind of ‘reset button’ for your client’s hair.
The Treatment helps you to rebuild the strength, structure and integrity of damaged hair to the point where a
colour or chemical service would, once again, be feasible. The Treatment should be done before and/or after a
chemical service by a Professional Stylist. The Treatment is for all hair types, from virgin to damaged or
chemically treated hair. When doing multiple hair lightening sessions, this service is recommended after every
hair lightening process.

STEP 1 Mix 15ml (1/2oz) (3 teaspoons) of Olaplex No1 with 90ml (3oz) of water in a non-spraying applicator
bottle (Do Not use a spray bottle).
Apply from roots to ends on dry or damp towel dried hair. (If the client has product build up, you may
want to shampoo and towel dry thoroughly first). Saturate hair with The Treatment and leave on for
5 or more minutes.

STEP 2 Without rinsing out Step 1, apply 5ml (1 teaspoon) of Olaplex No2 to short to medium hair. For longer
hair apply 10ml (2 teaspoons) of Olaplex No2. Comb through once. Leave on for a minimum of 10
minutes; longer for damaged hair.

STEP 3 Rinse, shampoo, and apply your in-salon conditioner or treatment as required.

OLAPLEX WITH BLEACH (FOILS OR MECHE)
Olaplex Helps To: Protect & Preserve the Integrity of Hair.

Best Practice: Olaplex works well with bleach, but you still need to check the integrity of the hair. Good
judgement is still required.

Whenever you use Olaplex No1, you always need to use Olaplex No2: except when perming. For use with perms,
keratin treatments and relaxers, visit: www.olaplex.co.uk/faq/. It is normal for processing time to take longer
with bleach, be patient; it’s well worth the wait.

IMPORTANT: YOU WILL NEED TO INCREASE THE DEVELOPER ONE FULL VOLUME AS THE OLAPLEX LIQUID WILL
DILUTE YOUR BLEACH. EXAMPLE: 20VOL. TO 30; 30VOL. TO 40.

NOTE: The amount of Olaplex used depends on the quantity of bleach being used, not the amount of both
developer and bleach combined.

Mix 7.5ml (1/4oz) of Olaplex No1 if using 30g (1oz) or more of bleach. You can add more bleach
