Konsep  Power  (Tambahan)  

 
 
1.   Menurut   Morgenthau,   power   sebagai   suatu   konsep   dapat   didefinisikan  
sebagai,”  may  comprise  anything  that  establishes  and  maintains  control  of  
man   over   man   (and   it)   covers   all   social   relationships   which   serve   that   end  
from   physical   violence   to   the   most   subtle   psychological   ties   by   which   one  
mind  controls  another”.    
 
2.   Couloumbis  dan  Wolfe  mendefinisikan  power  sebagai:  
a.      force,  
b.      authority,  
c.      influence.  
 
3.   Terkait   dengan   upaya   mengoperasionalkan   definisi   power,   Cline  
menggunakan  metode  pengukuran  dengan  memformulasi  satu  rumus,  yaitu:  
Pp  =  (C  +  E  +  M  )  x  (  S  +  W  )  
   
  keterangan,    Pp   =    perceived  power  
      C       =    critical  mass  (population  and  territory)  
      E   =    economic  capability  
      M   =    military  capability  
      S   =    strategic  purpose  
      W   =    will  to  pursue  national  strategy
