 Materials Needed:
Worsted weight / #4 yarn
DK weight / #3 yarn
3.5 mm hook
2.75 mm hook
Fiber fill stuffing
Yarn needle
Stitch marker
(2) 7 mm safety eyes
Measurements:
5 inches tall by 3 inches wide
Notes:
-The ( ) at the end of each round states
the total number of stitches that should
be completed for that round.
-Tension is not critical for this project. You
can use any yarn to make this amigurumi.
For example, if you use a smaller hook and
a suitable yarn, the amigurumi will be
smaller while maintaining the same
proportions.
Cake:
with 3.5 mm hook, and #4 light green

Beginning at the top of the cake
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6 total sts)

Stuff with fiber fill.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
With yarn needle weave in and out of
remaining stitches to sew up the bottom
opening. Weave in end.
Frosting:
with 3.5 mm hook and #4 light green yarn
Rnd 1: ch 4, *yo, insert hook in 4th ch from
hook, draw loop through, yo, draw loop
through 1st 2 loops on hook, rpt from * 5
times total, yo, pull yarn through all 6 loops
on hook (1 puff made)
Rnd 2-12: repeat rnd 1, end last puff with a
sl st (12 total puff sts)
Finish off and attach to the bottom of the
cake. See picture 1.

with 2.75 mm hook and #3 light green yarn,
ch 4, sl st in 1st ch to make a circle
Rnd 1: *ch 3, [dc, hdc, dc] into center of circle,
ch 3, sl st into center of circle, this makes
1 petal, rpt from * 4 times total, ch 6, hdc
in 3rd ch from hook, sl st in remaining 3 ch
sts, sl st in center of circle
Finish off and weave in ends. See picture 3.
Attach to the leprechaun hat.
