Dear Traveller,

You are receiving this email because you purchased a ticket on a charter flight
to return to Australia.
Your booking details have been shared with KTC (a major Indian travel agent).
KTC is providing bus services from areas where there are large numbers of
registered Australians. KTC will contact you regarding bus schedules and other
arrangements. You will need to pay for your bus ticket.
The Indian Government has advised the Australian High Commission that
travellers must use chartered buses for their journey to the airport. We must
comply with this requirement. This means if you do not live in Delhi, you must
have a bus booking through KTC.
In order to ensure you reach Delhi in time to make your flight, we recommend
that you book to stay in one of the recommended hotels near the airport the
night before. KTC will share hotel options at different price points.
The Indian government has prohibited travellers making their own way to the
airport. We will be running buses from the recommended hotels to the
departure terminal. If you live in Delhi we suggest you also stay at one of the
recommended hotels the night before. This would allow you to avoid risking
missing your flight as a result of Delhi’s stringent movement restrictions.
If you are not staying at recommended hotel, you still will need to make your
way to one of the hotels to board the bus to the airport. Details of airport bus
departures will be provided closer to your flight.
Once the Australian High Commission has received confirmation of your travel
arrangements they will issue you with a letter requesting free passage to the
airport by bus.
KTC will contact you directly to arrange your travel shortly.
However, if you need to contact them immediately, you can do so via
reservation@ktcindia.com and 011-4258 8888.
