This bulletin pertains to changes to the MACH-ProWebCom and MACH-ProWebSys controller firmware since version 8.10 (Product
Bulletin 4544).
New
Controllers shipped with firmware version 8.12 are set to device ID 100000 by default. Controllers
with this device ID are not configured as Time Master.
To configure a device as Time Master, change the BACnet® device number to 1000 using the MSet
tool in RC-Studio, or select T i m e M a st er in the T i m e S y n ch r o n i za t i o n tab of the P r o p er t i es
dialog box.
Improvements
The ability to turn off SMART-Sensor™ offline alarms has been added to firmware version 8.12. By
default, SMART-Sensor offline events are turned on.
SMART-Sensor offline events can be configured using the EVENT_ENABLE property (:35). This
property is stored in controller memory and is included in a panel file back-up.
Configure the EVENT_ENABLE property to turn off 'to-normal' and 'to-off-normal' events using
Control-BASIC or by directly setting the BACnet object properties. For example, to turn off offline
alarms in SMART-Sensor number 1, use the following Control-BASIC code:
20 [134]1:35 = 0
O b j ect —134
In st a n ce—1
P r o p er t y —35
V a l u e—0
To turn off offline alarms for SMART-Sensor EnOcean Accesspoint (SSEA) wireless sensors, configure
the first SMART-Net object (read address) only. Configuring the second associated SMART-Net object
is not necessary.
20 [134]1:35 = 5

Fixes
Users accessing the MACH-ProWeb interface using Internet Explorer now retain their non-default
language preference settings.
System Groups with references to T a b l es worksheets can now load from controllers that are running
version 8.12 firmware.
A System Group that was originally created on an LC500 controller can be loaded on a MACH-ProWeb
controller after being transferred using RC-Studio® R eso u r ce M a n a g er functionality.
LC500 System Groups use a special file to store configuration information about the System Group's
layout and objects. This file is now compatible with the MACH-ProWeb web interface and can be
successfully loaded on the MACH-ProWebComand MACH-ProWebSys controllers.
When using RC-Studio's S i m u l a t e feature to add objects to a System Group in a backup panel file,
the objects in the modified System Group now display correctly when restored to the controller.
Communications with sensors provide reliable temperature readings from large networks that
include SMART-Sensor EnOcean Accesspoints (SSEAs). When multiple SSEA devices are connected to
the controller, temperature points are correctly updated for all devices.
Following a power loss or reset when a controller has a low scan rate, programs listed in the
P r o g r a m s worksheet are no longer incorrectly set to No in the R u n column.

MACH-ProWebCom and MACH-ProWebSys Firmware Version 8.12-B4555-16-V01
On a controller with a large number of Net In references, clearing and rebuilding the Net In table
no longer causes intermittent issues with unintentional system resets and the loss of objects from
the database.
Objects that are part of a System Group retain their units after clicking R ef r esh .
Previously, an object's units were sometimes removed after a refresh if the object was:

All firmware files are compressed into self-extracting archives. Download the file to a known location
and double-click the file icon to extract the firmware binary file that is ready to be sent to the target
panel(s). The files are available from the Dealer Support Center of the Reliable Controls® website:
www.reliablecontrols.com.
When the firmware file has been extracted to a known location, use RC-Toolkit™ to OS Send the file
to the target controllersl(s). Procedures for this operation are provided within the Help files included
with RC-Toolkit™
