How to Make Avocado Toast

INGREDIENTS:

● 1 slice of bread
● Butter
● Half of an avocado
● 1 lemon wedge
● 1 egg
● Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel Seasoning
○ This is what I prefer but you can also just use salt and/or pepper!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

● Toaster
● Butter knife
● Fork
● Stove
● Pan
● Spatula
1. First place the piece of bread into the toaster on your preferred setting. I do not
like my toast too crispy so my toaster is set to 3.
2. While the toast is in the toaster, turn your stove top onto low-medium heat and
heat up butter on the pan on the stove. Once that butter is melted, crack the egg
onto the pan and let cook.

NOTE: This recipe will be making an over easy egg.

3. Take the toast out of the toaster when it pops. Remove the avocado from it’s peel
and scoop into a bowl. Mash up the avocado using a fork, squeeze the lemon
juice from the lemon wedge into the mashed up avocado, and stir.

NOTE: Always keep an eye on the egg on the stove! You do not want to burn!
4. When the egg is done it should look like this. Using the spatula take the egg off
the pan and put on a plate.
5. Spread the avocado and lemon mixture onto the toast.
6. Place the over easy egg on top of the avocado mixture.
7. Sprinkle the Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel Seasoning on top and enjoy.
