DIPLOMA IN SCIENCE (AS120)

FACULTY OF APPLIED SCIENCES (SEPTEMBER 2019 – JANUARY 2020)

YOUR TASK:

1. Please form a group consisting of 4-5 students in a group. Let’s say, the group is an Organization.
2. Your organization is interested in obtaining certification of its management system from SIRIM
QAS International Sdn. Bhd.
3. Refer to the related GUIDELINES and STANDARDS, choose one of the following standards for
your certification:
a) Quality Management System Certification - ISO 9001:2015
b) Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification - ISO 45001:2018
c) Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification - MS 1722:2011
d) Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certification for Food Sector - MS 1514:2009
e) Test Facilities Certification - ISO/IEC 17025:2017

4. Produce a PROPOSAL for applying the certificate using the following format:

a. No Minimum or Maximum number of pages

b. Font- Times New Roman
c. Line spacing – 1.5
d. Alignment – Justified

5. Content must include:

a. Introduction
b. Quality Objectives
c. Quality Policy
d. Procedures
e. Scope of quality management system (Refer standard for certification in Instruction no.4)
6. Please submit the complete report (proposal) hardcopy in week 14 (during lecture)

7. NONE of late submission will be accepted.
