Μένω στην Κυψέλη. Δεν συνάντησα ούτε μ ε εσύ πολύ κι αυτό με τρώει, με ρουφά σε όνειρα όταν
μια μέλισσα. κοιμάμαι όπως μια μουγκή ηλεκτρική σκούπα την σκόνη:
For too long, I have been opressed by the constraints of verbal language. I
have now decided to transition out of this uncivilized state of affairs.
From now on, I will ask my friends and followers not to use any pronouns
when referring to me. I am not you, nor he, nor she, nor they, nor it. Such
abbreviations are insulting to my selfhood. I refuse to be reduced to these δύο λέξεις
insulting and base categories of gender and number.
My name will now be, not a succession of letters uttered in a certain way, but
rather, a little dance, performed by gracefully lifting the right arm, turning the
hand from facing the person to facing the world, in a gesture of opening, while
simultaneously fexing the left knee turning it slightly outwards, and lifting the
right foot en pointe to draw a quarter circle at a 45 degree angle from the
heart centre, in a left to right movement, also in a gesture of opening. Non-
dancers are likely to mispronounce these movements, so it is imperative that
they practice arduously if they wish to not offend. These movements will
hereinafter constitute my name, and this name will replace all pronouns when
referred to me in speech.
A person may say, for example, the following sentence. (Replace the word in
brackets with the movement described above):
I ran into [dance] today. [Dance] said that [dance] had a bad dream the night before, where
[dance] encountered a tsunami-like demon who was about to crash into the house where
[dance] lives.
