To Whom It May Concern:

Rebecca Hart was a professional semester student in my first grade class for seven weeks. She
had been responsible for working with my 21 students, 2 of whom were in learning support, 1 with
Downs Syndrome, and 4 of whom were ESOL.. Rebecca had been responsible for doing our
morning routine which included the calendar,, reading our morning story, counting by 2’s, 5’s, and
10’s, reviewing high frequency words, and introducing the phonics lesson for the day. Miss Hart also
did small group remediation in math and guided reading groups. Miss Hart’s responsibilities per her
college advisor was to teach a math lesson, science lesson and a reading lesson, she successfully
demonstrated her awareness of different learning styles and had adequately adjusted instruction to
meet the varied needs of students.
Rebecca possesses a positive and enthusiastic personality. She had a great rapport with the
students she had worked with. She was well dressed, articulate, and always ready with a smile and
a kind word. I have found that other team members have accepted her as a strong working member
of our team and she has had a positive working relationship with each one of them, as well as with
other staff members.
I am confident that Miss Hart will be an asset to any staff that she works with. She is confident,
knowledgeable, and has a passion for teaching.. I believe that she will continue to grow and become
even more effective as a teacher with further opportunities. Please feel free to contact me for more
