Alumina Unloading and Conveying System

(i) Complete Indoor/Outdoor area
Illumination including approach road
illumination.
(ii) Illumination systems as required for
complete internal and external Area
lighting of substation under the scope
of this package. This should include
illumination of stairways, ladders,
approach roads, and vicinity of
substation : Lots
(iii) Entire Indoor/Outdoor illumination in
the vicinity of transfer house,
Conveyor gallery and other plant and
non-plant buildings related to alumina
unloading and transportation shall also
be considered.
(iv) Miscellaneous items as specified in
illumination specification: Lots

k) Normal/Emergency supply Lighting

Panels – Lots.

l) Feeder pillar boxes for

area lighting – Lots

m) METERING
(i) Audit metering in LV side of the each
distribution transformer.
(ii) Built-in energy meter of numerical
relays will be provided for other
feeders.

n) Each Substation/ switchgear rooms

shall be provided with rubber mats in
front of every panel (both side), shock
treatment chart, CO2 fire extinguisher
(min 2), first aid box, rubber gloves,
discharge rods, sand filled buckets,
fuse pullers, caution boards, special
and general purpose tool box of
sufficient nos.

o) Local Pushbutton Stations in various

locations with metering and start/ stop
facility for the drives -Lots
p) Local control board for controlling the
drive and local/remote selection-Lots
q) Local Isolating Switch Units for local
isolation of drives-Lots
