April 27, 2020 To whom it may concern, Itis my pleasure to write this letter of support and recommendation for Stephanie Jordin. 1 have had the pleasure and opportunity of working with Stephanie in the Fall of 2019 as my student teacher. I had also worked with her in the past in her role as an educational support professional. in both cases, I found Stephanie to be professional and caring, tn my classroom, she worked one on one with students ofall levels. She worked in small {groups and she taught whole class lessons. Stephanie was always very well prepared for her ‘teaching assignments. She studied hard and brought along any materials she might need to make the lessons more accessible to all students. She was creative with her lessons, making, them fun and exciting. Stephanie was always thinking ahead. Preparing for lessons that she knew would be coming up. Her most defining trait was her heart for the students who struggled. She was always concerned about, and working for the good of the students that had more trouble accessing the regular curriculum. She made them feel loved and appreciated. Stephanie is very familiar with our curriculum for two reasons. When she worked as an instructional aide in the Special Education department, she worked mostly one on one with students of different ages. She was in charge of helping them to understand and work through their own grade level or in some cases, the grade level that was appropriate for their learning in different subjects. When working in my third grade classroom, Stephanie would bring home the Teacher's Editions every night to study upcoming lessons. ‘Stephanie also made it a point to observe other grade levels. She spent several weeks going in to classrooms to watch lessons being taught in different subjects. She made it her business to study different teaching styles and methods and familiarize herself with the different math, social studies, science and language arts programs. Stephanie is a hard worker. She is loving and attentive to the needs of her students. She will make a valuable addition to any staff. | am delighted to recommend her.
