It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Stephanie Jordan to apply
for the position of Instructional Aide. Stephanie came to Loomis Grammar School in September
of this year hoping to work with students as a noon duty supervisor. She is working on her
teaching credential and felt that this would be a good way to spend time with students each day.
Part way through the year, she began substituting as an Instructional Aide and quickly realized
that in this role she is able to not only work with students, but also learn by observing in the the
various classrooms she is assigned.

In the short time I have gotten to know Stephanie, I have learned that she is a team player who
looks for ways to help however she can. I quickly saw this when Stephanie joined us during our
site time at the March Professional Development Day. She needed to attend a staff meeting for
one of her classes. During our meeting, we were discussing PBIS and various ideas for
playground behavior. Rather than just sitting there for her class, Stephanie contributed valuable
information to the staff discussion which helped with our planning.

I have found Stephanie to be dependable, compassionate, and thoughtful and I highly

recommend her as an Instructional Aide. I can say with the utmost confidence that Stephanie
would be an asset to any site. I am sad to see her leave as a noon duty, but applaud her goals
of learning more as she prepares to become a teacher. If you have any questions, or need
