To whom it may concern,

It is my pleasure to recommend Tori Jarnagin for one of your teaching positions. My name is Ashley
Steckel and I have had the honor of getting to know Ms. Jarnagin this school year when I joined the Long
Term Independent Studies team.

I have seen firsthand how much effort Ms. Jarnagin regularly puts into supporting, advocating for, and
getting to know her students. She is always happy to help my students as well when needed and uses her
time developing her own skills to best support her students. Her dedication to supporting her students is
remarkable along with her ability to adapt lessons to students needs to help them achieve their goals.

I have been able to experience how well Ms. Jarnagin collaborates with other teachers during our time
together and during formal collaboration with the other LTIS teachers throughout the district. She attends
all of our collaboration sessions and helps guide the meeting by asking questions, sharing her ideas, and
listening intently to her peers. She is eager to learn from her peers and support them when she can, often
sharing assignment guides she has made, examples of student work, and strategies she uses.

In the time we have worked together I have seen how well Ms. Jarnagin keeps in contact with the families
of her students, reaching out to them with concerns and sharing their accomplishments. She has been able
to not just develop relationships with her students, but their families as well. Her students' families trust her
and feel comfortable enough to reach out to her regularly with their concerns or questions.

Ms. Jarnagin would be a valuable addition to your school district. In the time I’ve known her, I have seen
how dedicated and passionate she is about teaching, how willing she is to learn, and how well she works
with other teachers, administration, and support staff. I have no doubts in her abilities as a teacher and
therefore, I gladly recommend Ms. Tori Jarnagin.
