To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing on behalf of Miss Tylissa (Ty) Doss, senior at Western High School. I have had the
pleasure of teaching Ty in our elective social science course of Advanced Placement Psychology,
as well as sociology. Ty demonstrates respect and dedication to showing her best work.

Ty’s interaction with others is always done with respect. She consistently treats me with respect
and I have witnessed the same as she interacts with other staff members. Not only does Ty
interact with her teachers in a respectful manner, but with her peers as well. For example, her
kindness and charm are key characteristics used when working with a partner or group in our AP
psychology classroom.
Ty’s respect toward others is a powerful trait, yet her academic dedication is a daily excitement
for me. As an educator, I hope to cultivate knowledge and grow an inquisitve mindset for my
students, yet, as expected this is difficult with many student; however, Ty is not like many
students and I appreciate her interests.
Respect and academic dedication in the classroom are powerful aspects of Ty. Despite facing
some adversity in her high school years, Ty has risen above and I believe it is because of her
maturity and passion for athletics that provides an outlet for her emotions. I am extremely proud
of the young adult she has become.

Tylissa Doss continues to be a positive role model and I am confident she will achieve success
not only academically, yet in all aspects of life. I feel her dedication and personable character are
deomonstrated in this senior portfolio.

Respectfully,

Mrs. Kimberly Shore
