It is an indoor/outdoor show.

The undersigned judge has been asked and has accepted to judge the breeds specified in
a list attached to this document. In case this piece of information is not available at the
time of the invitation, it must be forwarded and agreed upon at least eight days before
the date of the show.
Extra breeds or final competitions in the main ring can only be added to the list if the
judge has been informed in advance and if he agreed with the changes or additions.

The judge agrees to respect integrally the FCI Shows and Show Judges Regulations, the FCI
Show Judges Code of Commitment to the Welfare of Pure Bred Dogs, the Basic Statement
for show judges: Dogs fit for their original function and the valid national rules in the host-
event country regarding the judging and behaviour of show judges. Judging is to be
conducted exclusively according to the FCI breed standards.

The show organizer agrees to respect integrally all the FCI rules regarding the
organization of a dog show, the maximum amount of dogs to be judged per day, the
judge’s accommodation and travelling as written in the international FCI Regulations

Written critiques (when required) will be done in the language chosen by the judge. The
show organizer has to provide for a good writer/translator so that judging can proceed
without delay. If necessary, translation of reports should be done outside the ring in a
special translation area.

TRAVEL AND OTHER COSTS

All transportation costs – including travelling to airports, judging daily allowances, visa
costs, when necessary, and other expenses - must be paid by the show organizer
according to the FCI Show and Show Judges Regulations. Travel expenses are to be
refunded in cash before, or at least on the last day of the show, at the current rates
usually applied in the country where the show is held. Otherwise, the normal currencies
accepted for payments are EURO or US Dollars. The show organizer and the judge must
agree on travel arrangements and on the travel class for the flights or transportation
before this contract has been signed. Travel insurance must be either billed by the judge
or provided by the show organizer when tickets are sent to the judge.

The show organizer is responsible for the judges welfare and hospitality during the days
of the show and for one day before and one day after the show, whenever the judge’s
travelling schedule integrates these days. The hotel accommodation has to be suitable
and of at least three-star category.
All meals of the judge from the moment of arrival until the moment of departure are to
be provided by the organizers, as well as transportation to and from the show and the
local airport.

CANCELLATION
This assignment can be cancelled by the judge only for very serious reasons such as
severe illness or family or professional obligations. The judge will send the information
about his cancellation as soon as possible to the show organizer. Cancellation has to be
done by email, mentioning the reason of the cancellation.

Organizers can cancel the assignment only if the show has been cancelled, if the entries
are too low or if the judge has not followed the requirements of this assignment. The
organizer has to inform and fully refund the judge immediately for the travelling costs

as well as visa costs that the latter already paid.
