THE YOUNG KNIGHTS

ACT ONE
A young outcast boy is pressurized by his Stepfather to pass the test to become a Knight in the
Kingdom of Sombor, Serbia. The kingdom of Sombor filled with all forms of riches is located in
the Northern part of Serbia.
15 years old Kwame set out to compete with his peers to become one of the Honored Knights
of Sombor. Kwame lacks physical strength which made him a mockery among his peers, he felt
out of place as he cry out to his Mother for guidance and advice, he felt his Stepfather is asking
too much of him as he lacks what he thought was the greatest criteria to become a Knight. His
Mother held him close telling him if he does what she know he could, he will be one of the
Knights. His stepfather hired a private trainer to guide him, after much training Kwame still
does not feel confident enough for the task ahead.
The people of Ardian are filled with joy and laughter chanting local songs as the day of the test
is finally here. The prospects will be made to undergo series of test to ensure they have
strength, focus, skills, courage required to be a Knight.
The first test came and Kwame barely made it through with much luck on his side. His Father
does not believe such luck will come his way again so he had to bribe Kwame’s next opponent
just to make sure Kwame makes it to the final stage of the supreme test.
The Final test involves the finalist to come together as a team to achieve one main goal, if one
falls out then the whole team will not be crowned a Knight.
ACT TWO
The team is to go through the final test locked in a cave house where the dead Knights were
buried, The Kingdom believes the dead souls have to accept the new Knights before they can be
crowned a true Knight of Sombor. The finalist where instructed to sit in a meditative position,
not to talk or move no matter what happens in the cave for a twelve hours period.
A few hours passed by, a continues bang on the door was heard, it’s an old man screaming for
helping asking, is anyone there? Please help me! My master is dying. The team was staring at
each other in a confused state clearly reluctant to respond to the request, knowing if one of
them talk or move that will automatically shatter their dream of becoming an Honored Knight.
With a strike of some inspiration, Kwame, the bravest of them all stood up heading towards the
door, the other finalist tried to stop him saying remember the instruction given to us, but his
love for humanity and rendering service to the needy supersedes his desire of becoming a
Knight and what is a true Knight made of? If not for bringing peace to the disturbed minds, He
warned his peers to back off.
He gently removed the lock from the door, immediately the old man held tight to Kwame’s vest
instructing him to follow him to where his Master is lying almost dead after being stabbed.
The stabbed Knight is a famous Knight in the neighboring Kingdom called Kingdom of Novi Sad,
Serbia. He handed Kwame a well-crafted metallic baton contained in it is a letter which is to be
delivered to the king of Leskovac, Serbia. A kingdom rich with historical events in the southern
part of Serbia.
Make sure you deliver it to the King before the next blood moon which will occur in the next 14
days as the future of the entire world depends on it insisted the Stabbed Knight as he takes
deep and heavy breaths.
The Kingdom of Leskovac lies far south, how will I get there? Kwame asked reluctantly as taking
on the epic quest to save the world seems enormous for his little body. The Stabbed Knight
pointed to the horse standing behind him as the horse groans signaling to young Kwame he is
ready to take on the task.
Approaching from distance is the Red Knights looking to recover the letter from the Stabbed
Knight. Kwame is left to make a decision either go on the quest or get murdered along with the
Stabbed Knight. He ran for cover as the Red Knight got to the Stabbed Knight as they put a
sword through his heart. The Red Knight searched the dead Knight body to recover the letter
unfortunately they could not find it which made them furious, immediately they sensed
someone else is around.
The Red Knight started approaching Kwame’s hideout as he ran really fast towards the horse,
struggled to get on it as his heart was pounding very fast. Kwame was spotted by the Red
Knights as he took off, the Red Knight got on their horses and chased young Kwame.
The horse was running faster than Kwame could handle he tried controlling the horse until they
ran to the edge of the forest and into a fast moving stream of river they fell into. The Red
Knight stopped as Kwame would survive the crash. Lucky Kwame woke up at the river bank with
his horse by his side and continued on the quest to deliver the letter to the King.

ACT THREE
Kwame took on the quest to save the world with the help of his peers, He overcame a lot of
obstacles as he was faced with supernatural forces, ancient prophesies of the rise of a hero who
will defeat the prince. He discovered something new about himself in this epic quest.
Kwame became an enemy to a ruthless power hungry prince who want him dead because of
the secret letter he possessed.
Kwame’s Stepfather was killed and Mother imprisoned in this epic quest as they both failed to
provide the whereabouts of Kwame.
Kwame and his friends made it to the Kingdom of Leskovac, Serbia faced with the challenge of
entering the Kingdom unnoticed as they channeled through the underground tunnel to enter
the King’s Palace and the letter was delivered safely to the King.
It was minutes to the red blood moon as danger was already at the doorstep of the king as he
reads the letter to find out his son (Prince Glen) was planning on taking his throne.
The red blood moon night is the night the prince get embodied by dark supernatural forces but
Kwame and his friends were able to bring a stop to the darkness that was ready to take on the
world.
Kwame and his Friends were crowned true Knights of Ardian after leading the world into light
by their simple commitment not to give up, Not to stop trying to do the right thing no matter
what the cost, No matter how slim the chances of success.
CHARACTER BRIEF
Kwame
The Main Character, The Protagonist, He is a 15 years old, tall handsome underdog with
beautiful dark eyes who rose to become the hero saving the world from darkness. He lacks
physical strength but his skill and speed helped him overcome challenges.
Prince Glen
The Evil Character, The Antagonist, The second son of King Herman, a prince whose appetite for
power is so great the whole world trembles as he plans where to attack next. He has a jawline
that could cut diamond.
Kimberly
Tough and resourceful, helped Kwame in unexpected ways and stopped the prince from taking
over the world with darkness.
Pedro
The Stabbed Knight who handed the letter to Kwame after being badly wounded by the Red
Knights.
Gilbert
A beautiful black colored horse Kwame’s journey would be impossible without Gilbert leading
the way as young Kwame his a novice. The horse given to him by Pedro.
Malala
Kwame’s Mother, took on the mission of instilling belief in Kwame when he needed her most.
Marcus
Kwame’s Stepfather, held the position of an inspiring father as he laid down his life to enable
his son go on his quest to deliver the letter to the King.

LOGLINE
Kwame embarks on a journey to rescue the kingdom of Serbia from Prince Glen who set to put
the Kingdom in darkness thereby fulfilling an ancient prophecy.
SYNOPSIS
A power hungry prince set out to cast the world into total darkness by using supernatural
forces, a young Knight in training named Kwame embarks on an epic quest to deliver a secret
letter to the king of Leskovac, Serbia as he competes with magical powers and the Red Knights.
On this quest Kwame was put to the test of what it takes to be a true Knight as he teaches
leadership, courage, humility and determination. He and his friends were faced with dark forces
trying to stop them from delivering the letter.
On this journey Kwame came to discover an ancient prophesy foretelling a young hero who will
conquer the prince and save the world.
