The movie I decided to choose for this project is The Book of Eli. A few years back my

dad was watching a movie in the living room and he asked me to watch it with him, it was a

movie that he has seen multiple times already but thought I might enjoy. Little did my dad know,

this movie changed my perspective on a lot of things. The Book of Eli is about a man traveling

across America to protect a sacred book that holds secrets to saving humankind, this book was

the bible.

Before this movie I never thought much about my religion or how important the bible is

to myself and others. This movie changed my perspective on my religion and how the bible has

affected people throughout their life. The bible has been around for thousands of years, and each

year it only continues to grow in popularity. It is something that has taught me so many life

lessons and values that I now hold close to my heart. Throughout this film there are people trying

to find the bible and destroy it. This reflects life right now as well. There are people all around

the world trying to destroy specific religions while others are trying to protect it. This allowed a

clear perspective that a religion that you believe in is worth fighting for.
