The above graph shows how the amplitude of the AC voltage at the Channel 'A' of
the oscilloscpe varies with increasing the variable 'R2'. Here, the oscilloscope is
working as a null detector.

For a maxwell bridge as shown on the left page,

R 1 x R4 = R2 x R3
L 1 x R4 = L2 x R3

Here,the null point is where R2 = 1kΩ i.e. 50% of it's maximum.

When the value is increased from 5% to 100%,the amplitude of the AC signal at
null detector decreases to zeero, after that the signal becomes negative i.e.,
the phase difference between channel A and B jumps from 0o to 180o .

The above graph shows how the amplitude of the AC voltage at the Channel 'A' of
the oscilloscpe varies with increasing the variable 'R4'. Here, the oscilloscope is
working as a null detector.

For a maxwell wein bridge as shown on the left page,

R 1 x R4 = R2 x R3
L 1 = C4 x R2 x R3

Here,the null point is where R4 = 100 Ω i.e. 50% of it's maximum.

When the value is increased from 5% to 100%,the amplitude of the AC signal at
null detector decreases to zeero, after that the signal becomes negative i.e.,
