For me travelling means a lot, like visiting new places, meeting new people,

new cultures or maybe returning to a favourite place where I can really relax and
enjoy every single moment of the life.

Since now I’ve been travelling a lot, I’ve visited different cities in different
countries, like Hungary (Budapest, Tatabánya, Lakitelek), Austria, Belgium,
France (Lyon), and last but not least, the beautiful and unique Transylvania. In
some places I was just passing through, bust from those where I spent more time
one of my favourite was Budapest. I like the atmosphere of the city, the subways,
the Margaret Island and the beautiful buildings for example the Chain Bridge, the
Buda Castle, the Citadel and more others.

I mentioned that Budapest was just one of my favourite, because according

to the saying, there is no place like home. My big favourite of all is Transylvania.
This place is unique in different ways. It has an interesting history which appears
in many of the cities, a beautiful geography with lots of mountains, fairytale
landscapes and many rivers, for example Mures, Olt, Somes. The Carpathian
Mountains surround the Transylvanian Plain and together they make a particularity
for the area. What about the historic cities of the area, I visited some of them, like
Cluj Napoca, situated in the center of Transylvania, where you can see the famous
Matthias church, the statue of King Matthias, the Botanical Garden, Sighisoara,
famous by its towers, churches ang civil architecture, Medias, and my beloved
home town Targu Mures. This is my favourite of all and like the others this city
has lots of sights too, like some churches, the old City Hall, the Palace of Culture,
the National Theatre, some universities and what I like the most, the City Fortress.
The latter one has also a church, a museum and a beautiful garden, where you can
take a rest after a long day or just relax in a beautiful sunny day with your family
and your friends.

There are also a lots of places what I would like to visit someday. Everyone
knows that my big dream is to become a pilot, so I could get to many places all
around the world. But for now I would be satisfied if I could travel by plane in a
desert where than I could fly a lot, even illegally.

But to be serious, one of my dream destination is London. If I could get

there I would prefer to explore the city by walking or maybe I will try those double
decker buses, just for fun. If I had the chance I would like to visit most of iconic
symbols of the city, like the Houses of Parliament with the Big Ben which rings
every hour across the city, the Tower Bridge, the official residence of Queen
Elisabeth, the Buckingham Palace, the Kensington Palace, and of course the
famous Royal Parks, or at least some of them. The latters were once reserved as the
royal family’s hunting grounds. And I didn’t mentioned the place where during
time kings and queens have been married, crowned or even buried, the
Westminster Abbey. Besides that there is the West End, which has many ancient
buildings and where during the day the shops and boutiques play the main role,
while in the evening the bars are full of people enjoying they drinks.

To conclude, travelling is a great experience to understand other people, to

develop our communication skills. It helps also to a better understanding of
ourself. And the most important thing is that it is not age – related, it is a really
good entertainment for a person of any age.
